PG Bison Invitation
Andrea Kleinloog approached Green Grass Design to help create a unique call
for entries to the PG Bison 1.618 Awards. The awards celebrate excellence in
the field of interior design and architecture, so naturally the call for
entries had to be top-notch design too. The final piece was created from
wood with print and laser cut detailing.

When the idea to transform old vinyl records into jewelry struck 5FM's Erica
Elle, she turned to Green Grass for the production. Erica's designs make for
striking pieces with the grooves in the vinyl adding beautiful detail.

From intricate designs and numerous paper panels that slot into each other,
comes the most spectacular creation. Cut-out details and slits allow the
light to shine through, creating a dazzling multi-faceted light effect.

Jacqueline Middleton from Adaptations designed the most amazing pattern for
her wedding dress. We’ve cut the pattern in a synthetic material. The black
material contrasted beautifully with the soft layers of her wedding dress.
This is an exceptional example of the fine detail possible with laser
cutting.

Nut Cracker Labels
We're very proud of the intricate laser cutting we did for the Nut Cracker
packaging. Not only because we think it's beautiful, but also because the
judges at Loeries seem to agree.

Trays
We used white and pink frosted Perspex and added buttons and ribbons
to make fun little trays for I love cupcake. The trays turned out to be as
sweet as the cupcakes they carried.

We used Savile Row Plain White, 300gsm for the “wish you were here”
cards.

Nando’s Toolkit Boxes
We did engraving and laser cutting for the lids of the Nando's toolkit
boxes. The burnt effect with recycled wood was the perfect look for the job.

Wedding Elements
Paper Doll Studio designed the most exquisite wedding fans and we had the privilege of doing the very detailed laser cutting and engraving. The church program was printed on paper and attached to the fan with a ribbon tied around the handle to complete the look. But the detail didn't stop there - personalised birdies perched on every wine glass and grouped friends, family and love birds together. All the elegant details were captured by Tyme Photography.

Album Cover
Johnny Neon illustrated his latest album cover and asked us to give it that unique touch. We laser cut the Johnny Neon logo and generated rubber stamps for the illustrations and disk information. The rubber stamps created a roughness that perfectly complemented the clean look and, because it was all handmade (as usual) every cover had a unique finish.

Lab Light Branding & Collateral
Early November 2009 Andrea from Anatomy swept in our door and charmed us with her amazing enthusiasm and relentless work ethic. We produced a small branding device for Andrea's gorgeously designed lab lights. But we weren't the only ones who were impressed by her work - Andrea’s Lab Light was named ‘Most Beautiful Object' at the 2010 Design Indaba.
Andrea also teamed up with Geraldine Fenn and designed the skull & ribcage brooches, which we produced for them, along with the heart mirror designed by Geraldine and displayed on the Anatomy stand at the Design Indaba.

L’Atelje Business cards
We love these cards designed by Visual 8. Each one was individually hand stitched by us and we also generated rubber stamps to personalise the cards even more. We are extremely proud of the outcome and the recycled card, red cotton and soft cloth go very well together.
